In Term VI, you’ll apply everything you’ve learned to carve your own path as a Technical Artist. You’ll choose a specialization track—like Shader Artist, Tool Developer, VFX Artist, or Gameplay Programmer—and work one-on-one with a mentor to build a capstone project that reflects your strengths and interests. In this course, you will:
-
Choose a specialization and follow a self-directed learning path tailored to your career goals
-
Design and build a final project that demonstrates advanced technical skill and creative problem-solving
-
Integrate workflows across Unreal, DCC apps, scripting languages, or VFX systems, depending on your focus
-
Receive weekly mentor feedback to guide your design, development, polish, and presentation
-
Learn how to scope a portfolio-ready project and make production-level decisions
-
Prepare and present your final capstone as a professional showcase piece
By the end of this term, you’ll graduate with a specialized, portfolio-grade project that proves your readiness to contribute at a professional level—and the confidence to step into your first (or next) role as a Technical Artist.
