What Our Students Are Saying...

Mitchel Kline

"I enrolled in Vertex to boost my portfolio and learn how to use 3D programs professionally. One of my college professors had taken classes at Vertex in the past. When I asked him what he’d recommend I do after school to continue to refine my portfolio, he highly recommended Vertex.

The Game Art Program has been so helpful! I’m surprised I was able to do so much in a relatively short amount of time. It’s sped up my process so much!

Everyone has been so kind and given great critique and advice. I’ve grown so much in such a short time.

I don’t think I’d have the job I have now without Vertex School!

After Graduating from Vertex: Unreal Generalist at Shiloh & Bros

Nicolas Bortone

"My mentor, Andrew, was extremely helpful. He's a great mentor and amazing person, always has useful feedback and spot-on criticism.

Vertex School was a great experience! I love the fact that you have a limited amount of time to complete your projects, so you need to learn to keep the scope within your abilities.

The fact that we get invaluable feedback from capable mentors is absolutely essential.
Also, making friends along the way for me is important.

After Graduating from Vertex: Sr. Environment/Technical Artist at SPARQ Enterprises

Pu Xia

"There are many passionate and professional game industry professionals at Vertex School, so whether you’re looking to change careers or improve your 3D skills, this is an excellent place to start. It’s no exaggeration to say that Vertex School graduates may know more about modeling than university professors. Everyone is very friendly.

I decided to join Vertex School because, after six years of self-learning, I realized that I needed more structured, industry-focused training to reach a professional production level.

I learned a lot about game-ready workflow and Unreal Engine."

After Graduating from Vertex: 3D Artist at Dekogon

STUDENT SUCCESS STORY

From Architecture to 3D Artist

How Martiine Mayeur Landed a Career Working on the Game Rust

For Martiine Mayeur, creativity has always been a constant, even while working in architecture, project management, and finance. But her real passion lived elsewhere: in the worlds of computer games. What started as a hobby in 3D art soon grew into a calling, pushing her to take the leap into game art.

That leap paid off. Today, Martiine is a Junior 3D Artist at Facepunch Studios, contributing to DLCs for Rust and bringing her imagination to life in one of the most recognized survival games in the world.
