"The difference between my work before and after taking classes at GAI is immense. Here you’re taught the workflows and best practices being used by the top names in the game industry today. All the teachers genuinely care about you and your improvement. What more could you ask for?"
Kory Molohon
"GAI is a leading online learning school with one of the more thriving art communities for upcoming artists, it is focused on leveling up your skills to professional standard in order to get the job position we aspire to. Enrolling on the Character art bootcamp is one of the best career decisions i have ever taken."
Andre Pires
"I discovered GAI by accident and this is my favourite accident so far. You can find a plethora of tutorial and class online to give you the tools to make art. But it's like being lost at sea and giving you a boat: It's a start but without a direction you are just going to exhaust yourself without any results. GAI give you a compass, a map, and a slap on the back of the head shouting: "It's over there ! GO! GO! GO!"
Simon Loyer
"GAI is by far the best educational course I have been on. University seems to teach you very little over a long period of time. I've have also tried other online courses but none of them have been as concise on teaching you exactly what you need to learn while pushing you to become a better artist. The feedback from Ryan and other industry veterans has been amazing and a real eye opener. I can't recommend the GAI character bootcamp enough!"
Alexander Lowrie
"GAI has been the greatest learning experience I have ever been through. With real world practice, with real world masters of the craft using current applications of industry standards. I have learned more in 3 months part time than I have learned in self practice for years. They have helped me create meaning portfolios, game ready assets and textures that industry standards are currently using today. The teachers at GAI teach, explore and challenge you to be ready for the next level."
David Laury
"GAI has been a great experience, it has changed my perspective on what is important as an environment artist while also learning on what employers are actually seeking when hiring artists. It has pushed me to higher limits and in return getting better quality 3D assets on all the aspects involved. For me having enrolled in the Environment Bootcamp has been one of the best decisions i have taken as an artist. "
Isaac Rivera GĂłmez
"When you join GAI, you’ll be learning from professional artists working on some of the best AAA games out there. With clear set goals and techniques, live classes, reviews and feedback, GAI is a thriving community of dedicated people that made art and games their living. You are not born with talent, you master it, they are ready to show you how."
Natanael Rey
"This is the best art education that I have ever had so far. In GAI environment bootcamp, I get what I want to learn by doing. The greatest part is that I am exposing to an environment where I could get constructive feedback, guidance and surrounded by a lot of other talented artists to learn from. I also have opportunities to reach out to the best artists worldwide and get inspired by them. I am very grateful how much I have improve my art here. No matter which level you are, as long as you want to improve and are determined, GAI bootcamp has the right resource to help you get there, because the learning content is not fixed, it is customized for you."
Ira Zhang
"Coming in from a programming background, I had just a makeshift modeling foundation from amateur YouTube videos. As intimidated as I was starting out in Character Art, I was quickly supported by industry-veteran instructors and fellow students that were more than willing to help me along the way patiently. They not only personally helped me with my technical problems, but more importantly, showed me my own mental traps and approaches to modelling. It’s more than just an online classroom, it’s a solid tight-knit community that works together towards the long run."
Roy Portillo
"Game Art Institute has been an incredible resource for me as an aspiring 3D artist. The classes offered are led by some of the industries' top talent who take you step by step through the process of creating AAA quality art for games. Not only do you gain insight from watching them work; they also interact with you and offer personalized feedback to help you take your work to the next level. GAI also has an excellent online community where artist's can share their art, get helpful feedback, attend webinars and interviews with industry pros, and so much more. I simply cannot recommend GAI highly enough."
Matthew Gillmeister
"I feel like I have wasted most of the money I have spent on education, mostly due to the lack of experience of the teachers, however here in GAI I have had the honour to meet some of the finest titans of the industry, I have been guided by them and taught by them. The best thing however is the community, because after the lessons are done, here is everyone to still help around which is very touching. I had never pushed myself this hard before. I just have to say thanks Ryan for all this, I will never forget all the times you halped me just because that is who you are."
Dani Gimenez
"Before I joined the Environment Artist Bootcamp, I knew a little. All I knew, was I wanted to get a job in the game industry and I felt like going back to school would be a waste of time and money. I wanted something that was quick, would fill in the gaps in my knowledge, and would have my back when it came to getting employment. Ryan Kingslien and the Game Art Institute have made it clear that they check all those boxes. I know, from start to finish, how to make a game asset, and I feel confident that I can look at a job posting and say, "I'm qualified for this". I believe in this so much, that anytime someone mentions their struggle in this medium, I tell them to go here. "It's expensive, but it's worth it," I say. Because no other class will do what this place offers."
