Your year of growth

When you join the bootcamp you get an entire year of training, support and guidance.  Here's how that year gets broken up:

2 WK

PREP

Make sure you understand basic polygonal modeling and sculpting processes and have an understanding of pipelines.

12 WK (3 MO)

INTENSIVE

Bi-weekly sessions with your cohorts and mentor as you progress from milestone to milestone.

4 WK (1 MO)

ACCELLERATOR

This four week section focuses on one thing:  are you hireable, yet?  If not, what do you need to focus on?  

36 WK (8 MO)

GUIDANCE

Apply to jobs weekly and get career guidance as well as continuing crits on your work to keep your momentum going.

Job Preparation

HIRE-ABILITY is our key focus!  To do that, we focus on the skills you need to demonstrate and build a strong portfolio with one-on-one mentorship.

Small groups, a network of graduates and professional mentorship all work together towards the same goal: getting you that JOB.

We provide each of our immersive graduates with 8 months access to job readiness training, connections to employers, and opportunities to hone new skills.

3D Model

Create the 3D models that you'll need using a variety of techniques to keep it modular and repeatable.

Texture

Learn to texture and bake using the latest techniques and workflows such as texture tiling.

Create Materials

Dive into materials via either Substance Designer or Unreal to take your work to that next level.

Put It In-Game

Establish the "feel" of the final environment by working on your lighting and post-processing workflows.

Why are these skills relevant today?

There's never been a better time to be a well-trained 3D Artist. The Game industry is growing and offers stable employment for artists trained in craft and the latest software.

What practical skill sets can I expect to have upon completion of the course?

By the end of this course you'll be able to:

  • Setup a grid system to create your environments with an effecient, optimized workflow.
  • Develop repeatable 3d modules & texture tiles to quickly develop your environment
  • Sculpt with a High Poly to Low Poly workflow

Who will I be taking classes with?

Our students are artists, engineers transition into the arts, people just out of college, people who couldn't afford to go to college, vfx artists, baristas - artists who, just like you, have a passion for creating environments for the film and game industry.

What can I expect to accomplish by the end of this course?

  • Prepared yourself with the foundational knowledge you need to begin a career of continuous learning.
What are my financing options for an immersive program?

We don't want financial obstacles to get in the way of you achieving your dream job so we offer payment plans for those who qualify. Note, you must first be accepted into the program before applying for financing.

What is the difference between the Bootcamp and the Immersive?

The Immersive is in-person. The Bootcamp is online. The immersive is also over 520 hours of training while the bootcamp is over 72 hours of training.
