Here is what we will do.

In this bootcamp, we'll teach you these four essential skills.  You'll create your own prop but the images below will help you see the process.

High resolution modeling

 

You'll learn our Construction Mesh approach to modeling your high resolution prop.  The key here is to not worry about polygon count and focus on believability.

Low resolution modeling

 

You'll learn our simple strategy for spending your polygon budget on the curves and saving it on the straights.  You'll also learn special strategies like floaters and how to trust your normal map.

Texturing in Substance Painter

 

You'll learn how to texture paint in today's standard game art pipeline using Substance Painter.  Specifically, you'll learn our unique Texture Machine approach to help you master the software.

Rendering in your game engine

 

You'll learn how to get your model into a game engine so you send it to Artstation and post your first 3d game art asset!
