Texel Density
Action Items. Take a set of provided 3D assets and prepare them for a game engine environment: UV map each asset, apply textures to a strict texel density for visual consistency, and set up the final scene in Unreal Engine 5 for presentation.
Core Tasks & Requirements
- Scene Setup: Import the provided 3D models into your existing UE5 project; keep a clean folder structure.
- UV Mapping: UV unwrap all provided scene assets. If it feels hard, focus on the room walls first. Crucial constraint: maintain a strict texel density of 512 pixels/meter across all assets.
- Texturing: Apply the provided textures to their corresponding objects within the UE5 scene.
- Modeling (optional): If you finish the wall and other assets, model additional objects (a coat rack, a chest) that use the provided wood trim texture.
Deliverables — submit screenshots from your UE5 scene: a wide shot capturing the entire scene, and a medium shot framing a significant portion of it.
