Meet Your Instructor
Mike's love for video games and characters all started back in '98 with Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid on the PlayStation.
Since then he's always wanted to create video games and immersive characters and has spent the last several years realising them.
He started from little sketches following Steven E. Gordon's style of design to full high-end 3D modeling development using both 3DS Max and Maya.
His passions (if you couldn't tell) are creating realistic, relatable characters that push the boundaries both visually & through their disposition, and video game design & creation.
He's currently working on building his own indie-survival horror game using Unreal Engine 4 in between various freelance work!
"This course was very good, very detailed. A lot to learn for new people which is great and also a lot to learn for me whilst I’m experienced.
I got very close to the end but didn’t finish due to personal circumstances, however, even my WIP did help me get a job in the industry so all good!"
