About the Lesson

This is an hour long lesson by Vertex Workshop instructor Patrick van Rooijen. This lesson is an excerpt from his "Hard Surface Modeling" workshop where Patrick teaches students hard surface modeling for character design.

About the Instructor

Patrick is a character artist with a passion for modeling, texturing/shading, and sculpting.

Currently, he is working at Guerrilla Games as a character artist, and over the last couple of years has worked on 2 feature films, multiple tv-commercials, web campaigns and campaigns for print purposes. He is hard working, loves to learn and is always looking for new ways to get the best results within a set deadline.

Patrick loves teaching others, so that they in return can get the best results themselves. He has experience in both small start up companies as well as large organizations. 

Some productions Patrick has worked on include Kill Switch and Prey from Hectic Electric. His latest project is Horizon Forbidden West.
