Patrick will teach you the workflows for sculpting hard surface in ZBrush with the objective of producing a game ready asset. You will learn all the steps in the pipeline and understand how to prepare your model efficiently.

What You’ll Learn


The course will go through the full process of sculpting and modeling hard surface elements for characters. The emphasis will be on design principles for building hard surfaces. Realizing concept to finalize game ready model. Accessorizing the various pieces of armor, with the emphasis on material expression. Students will learn how to get the most out of the various tools to get the best results.

By the end of the course, students will learn the full process of sculpting and modeling hard surface for characters. They should also have gained knowledge on how to troubleshoot new problems or tasks.

This workshop on Hard Surface Modeling For Characters will consist of six modules of pre-recorded lessons and live Q&A sessions. You’ll learn core hard surface modeling for character design skills and workflows and be part of a community of artists working to achieve next level quality in their work.
